Automotive Photographer

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or until work is completed)
Route: Santa Cruz, Capitola, Scotts Valley, Watsonville, Aptos, Soquel, Felton, Live Oak, Ben Lomond, and surrounding areas
Pay: $24.00+ per hour
(Hourly pay is a combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo payout)

About the Role

Pro-MotionPix is seeking a full-time Automotive Dealership Photographer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll photograph and video dealership vehicles for sale using a company-issued iPhone and specialized app.

As an Automotive Photographer, you’ll capture high-quality vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos for online dealership listings. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, being outdoors, and paying attention to detail.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include locating and moving vehicles to staging areas, photographing inventory, and communicating with dealership staff regarding vehicle availability or readiness.

No previous automotive photography experience is required—we provide paid training to help you succeed.

We’re looking for reliable, motivated individuals who:

  • Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license

  • Are comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (preferred but not required)

  • Enjoy working outdoors in different weather conditions

  • Are comfortable with light physical activity, including walking lots and moving vehicles

  • Have strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Are self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Are customer-service oriented and professional when interacting with dealership staff

  • Are tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools and processes

Job Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned dealership locations following a provided route schedule

  • Use a company-provided iPhone and app to capture vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos

  • Locate vehicle keys and move vehicles to designated staging areas

  • Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and photographed for online listings

  • Communicate with dealership staff regarding vehicles that are missing, unavailable, or not ready for photography

  • Maintain an organized workflow to complete all assigned vehicles each day

Requirements

  • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

  • Manual transmission experience is a plus (not required)

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule

  • Comfortable working outdoors and walking dealership lots

  • Basic technology skills and willingness to learn new systems

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
