Automotive Photographer (Part-Time)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday — until route is completed
Route: Santa Cruz, Capitola, Scotts Valley, Watsonville, Aptos, and surrounding areas
Pay: $24.00+ per hour
(Hourly pay includes base pay plus per-vehicle photo incentives)

Additional opportunities: During heavier workloads, there may be opportunities to assist in Salinas, Monterey, or San Jose, depending on availability and location.

Automotive Dealership Photographer – Paid Training Provided

Pro-MotionPix is seeking a Part-Time Automotive Photographer to capture professional photos, 360° spins, and videos of dealership vehicles using a company-issued iPhone and app.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and staying active while paying attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for staging vehicles, photographing them for online listings, and communicating with dealership staff to ensure vehicles are ready for photography.

No prior photography experience is required — we provide full paid training.

What You’ll Do

Travel to assigned dealership locations using your own vehicle
Use a company-provided iPhone and app to capture vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos
Locate vehicle keys and move vehicles to staging areas for photography
Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and photographed for online listings
Communicate with dealership staff about vehicles that are missing, unavailable, or not ready for photos
Maintain an organized route and complete assigned tasks efficiently

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for dependable individuals who:

Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Are comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (preferred but not required)
Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
Are comfortable with light physical activity, including walking dealership lots and moving vehicles
Communicate clearly and can solve problems independently
Provide excellent customer service when working with dealership staff
Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Are open to learning about automotive and dealership photography

Requirements

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Manual transmission experience is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Customer-service mindset
Ability to work independently and outdoors
Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
